Biography

Tony Beck is from an agricultural town in Eastern Washington. He graduated in spring of 2015 from high school with his diploma and also an Associate’s degree in science. Tony worked for Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from 2014 to 2015. There he did research using X-ray computed tomography studying soil samples, fracking experiments, and porosity.  Tony is now at Washington State University pursuing a degree in Sports Science as part of his pre-medical studies.

Research

Tony is currently helping Dr. Swensen research scalable, modular robotics using primarily 3D printed models.  Rapid prototyping allows Tony to explore different ideas and test various designs in hopes of developing small scale, multi-stiffness joints.
