Sue Phelps, Ray Henry and Nicole Campbell received an Orbis Cascade Alliance Professional Development Award.  This award will fund the following project that seeks to initiate conversation at the Alliance level about the experiences of students with visual disabilities and give librarians some tools to assess the usability of resources in their own library. Funds will support a workshop to advance the Alliance Strategic Agenda to invest in staff training, to improve usability, to reduce barriers to access, and to advocate for change for library patrons.
