Prospective Students
Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Students
Dr. Liao plans to recruit one Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student for the Fall 2027 cycle (December 1, 2026 application deadline) and will consider applications. For information on applying to the program, check out the Clinical Psychology program website and FAQ page.
Undergraduate Students
Dr. Liao accepts undergraduate research assistants (RAs) depending on space and need. The undergraduate RAs typically participate in a variety of research-related tasks, including running participants, creating research tools/measures, processing data, reading articles, and generating research ideas. RAs who demonstrate independence are welcome to propose research projects or take on a leadership role in an ongoing project. RAs are expected to attend and contribute to lab meetings that typically involve discussion of theories, methodological training, study designs, pilot testing, and/or practice talks (e.g., thesis defenses, conference presentations). RAs typically receive course credits (PSY 498) for their time commitment in the lab.
Interested in joining the Culture, Assessment, and Well-being Lab as an undergrad RA? Please fill out this application and email it and your CV (if available) to the lab manager, Michelle Jung, at michelle.jung@wsu.edu.
