Ashley Murray

Ashley Murray is a second-year doctoral student in Prevention Science. She has a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, East Bay. Her research interests include aging, cognitive changes across the lifespan, the development of cognitive dysfunction, and neural networks involved in the brain-behavior relationship. The eventual goal of her research is to contribute to the development of effective strategies that improve health span and promote well-being across the lifespan. Her experience as a research assistant in the Lab for the Developing Mind and the Gartstein Temperament Lab allow her to develop a unique lifespan perspective on cognition and healthy development. Ashley has four cats she’d love to tell you about (and show pictures). In her free time, you’ll find her going for long bike rides, gardening, (trying to) play guitar, reading, or going to the movies.
