Lucia Salz, M.Sc.

Luci earned her B.Sc. studying Biomedical Sciences and her M.Sc. studying Regenerative Medicine and Technology both at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. She moved to Washington State to continue her research with Dr. Driskell on fibroblast heterogeneity. She is now a MD/PhD student attending RWTH Aachen University in Germany.

Gracelyn Fine, B.S.

Grace earned her B.S at Washington State University while working in the Driskell Lab. She was instrumental in establishing the functional underpinnings of the Driskell lab at its beginning in early 2017-2018. She also performed some of the first wound healing experiments that allowed for the discovery that our transgenic mice appear to be able to regenerate hair follicles during wound healing. Grace is now a Senior Research Assistant under Dr. Lisa Vrooman at the Oregon National Primate Research Center studying placentation and reproductive biology.

Meenakshi Mukherjee, Ph.D.

Quan Phan

Quan graduated from Montana State University in 2018 with a B.Sc. degree in Microbiology and a minor in Computer Science. He has since joined the lab in March 2019 as a graduate student. Quan is interested in investigating the role of skin fibroblasts in wound regeneration and hair follicle development. He enjoys playing video games, reading, and sports outside of the lab.

Quan is now working for Brystol Myers Squib

Natalie Williams

Natalie is majoring in Microbiology with minors in Spanish Language and Biology at Washington State University, and is a member of the Honors College. She joined the lab as a sophomore in January 2020. Her work currently involves single cell data analysis of genetic markers in varying cell types. In her free time, Natalie is the treasurer of WSU’s club swim team, and enjoys running, hiking, listening to music, reading, and watching television.

Spring 2023, Natalie was accepted to WSU Medical School in Spokane.
