WSU boasts a vibrant summer research community.  RISE is just one over a dozen summer research experiences at WSU, all coordinated by our Office of Undergraduate Research.  As a RISE participant, you will be integrated into this vibrant research community as you join other undergraduates from around the country engaged in research.

Summer research activities include:

• Campus-wide introduction to the research environment at WSU,
• Professional development workshops (i.e., abstract/technical writing, creating a poster, applying to graduate school),
• Research “brown-bag” luncheons, and
• End-of-the-summer poster symposium.

And when you are not in the lab, there are plenty of things to do out in the community!
