  • March 26 & April 13, 2026– The face review team presented their work, “Rebuilding the Foundation of Face: A Systematic Synthesis of Definitions and Related Concepts,” at two campus-wide research events. Alayna Daniels won the First Place Award in the Physical and Social Science category at the WSU GPSA Research Expo, and Susanne Ward won the Excellent Research Presentation Award at the 2026 Pacific Northwest Pre-Health Symposium. Congratulations!!
  • March 30, 2026– Alex Watt successfully defended his honor thesis, “Perceptions of Academic Success.”
  • March 11, 2026– Congratulations to Alayna Daniels and Michelle Jung, who are the recipients of the James F. Adams Scholars Awards this year.
  • February 27, 2026- Congratulations to Suzanne Ward for receiving the WSU Undergraduate Research Award- Auvil Scholars Fellowship for the 2026-2027 academic year!
  • February 16, 2026– Katherine Craig is selected as the recipient of the Marchionne Full-Year Teaching Fellowship for the 26-27 academic year.
  • November 7 & Dec 15, 2025– Congratulations to Emily Becerra for successfully defending her honors thesis, “Caught in the Middle: The Impact of Immigrant Policy on Stress in Latinx college students.” Emily’s thesis was nominated by the committee for Pass with Distinction. Emily also received the Psychology Department Research and Conference Fee Grants to support her thesis and upcoming presentations in Spring 2026.
  • October 22, 2025– Congratulations to Katherine Craig for receiving the APAGS/Psi Chi Junior Scientist Fellowship!
