We value the importance of African-Americans in science and our society. We are working together within the lab, our classrooms, throughout WSU, our scientific societies, and as far our reach extends to end anti-black racism. Science has been used to promote and justify racism. As scientists and educators, it is our responsibility to take action to reverse the damage and prevent it from happening in the future.
