Are you a WSU student in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, or the Physical Sciences? Then apply today for a spring ’27 study-&-research abroad program in Poland at the AGH University of Kraków.  Admitted WSU students receive financial support in the form of an Erasmus+ grant and are not required to pay tuition in Poland. They will take classes overseas, transfer credits to WSU, and graduate on time. For questions about this program, please communicate with the program director.

Studying and taking university courses has never been this fun before, with all the opportunities and friends that I can go out and do things with between classes. On Erasmus+ everyone is just as eager to make new friends, go on adventures, have new experiences, try different foods and languages, and learn about the world through traveling. I have also been able to develop my skills academically, professionally, and personally. I highly recommend studying abroad for at least one semester, and the Erasmus+ program has been a great way for me to do so.

Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is the European Union (EU) Program in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the 2021-2027 period. Education, training, youth and sport are key areas that support citizens in their personal and professional development. High quality, inclusive education and training, as well as informal and non-formal learning, ultimately equip young people and participants of all ages with the qualifications and skills needed for their meaningful participation in democratic society, intercultural understanding, and the successful transition to the labor market.

Building on the success of the predecessor program in the 2014-2020 period, the Erasmus+ Program was established by Regulation (EU) 2021/817 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2021 instituting “Erasmus+”: the EU Program for education and training, youth and sport and repealing the regulation (EU) No. 1288/2013. Erasmus+ strengthens efforts to increase the number of opportunities offered to even more participants and to a wider range of organizations, focusing on the qualitative impact of the Program and contributing to more inclusive and cohesive, greener, and digitally fit societies.

The general objective of the Program is to support, through lifelong learning, the educational, professional and personal development of people in education, training, youth and sport, in Europe and beyond thereby contributing to sustainable growth, quality jobs and social cohesion, to driving innovation, and to strengthening European identity and active citizenship. As such, the Program shall be a key instrument for building the European Education Area, supporting the implementation of the European strategic cooperation in the field of education and training with its underlying sectoral agendas. In addition, it is key in advancing youth policy cooperation under the European Union Youth Strategy 2019-2027 and developing the European dimension in sport.
