The Carbon Lab develops and maintains open-source tools that support the broader X-ray spectroscopy and resonant soft X-ray scattering communities. The resources below are freely available and actively maintained by lab members and collaborators. They span analysis software, public source code, and reference data.
Igor Pro X-ray Analysis Software
A suite of Igor Pro procedures for processing and interpreting NEXAFS and resonant soft X-ray scattering data. Includes routines for normalization, polarization analysis, and dielectric tensor reconstruction used across the lab’s published work.
X-ray Atlas Open Database
A FAIR open data database of NEXAFS reference spectra for organic molecules, organized by molecular structure and absorption edge. The browser supports lookup, comparison, and download of spectra to aid spectral interpretation and method development.
Git Hub
The lab’s public code organization, hosting open-source software, analysis pipelines, and reproducibility artifacts tied to our publications. Issue reports, pull requests, and forks from the community are welcome.
