Aerial Vehicles

We conduct research and development of unmanned aerial vehicles of both fixed- and rotary-wing types. Examples include an 8-m-span airplane intended to carry a liquid hydrogen tank, a compact tubular UAV with gimbaled co-axial contra-rotating propellers, and a vehicle for urban aerial mobility. We specialize in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), static experimentation of propulsion systems, and construction and testing of prototype vehicles in open air.
