About me

I did my undergrad in Materials Science and Engineering at WSU, and am now a graduate student in the PhD program. I have several years of undergrad research experience with microstructure characterization in metals with Dr. David Field, and am now co-advised under Dr. John McCloy and Dr. Field. I am working on UO2 as an analogue for used nuclear fuels to study effects of microstructure and composition on the dissolution properties in varying environmental repository conditions. The goal of this research is to be able to predict long term behavior of the storage of used nuclear fuels.
