July 27, 2018 – Frank Hamel (Columbia High School) completed his internship with the Upward Bound Program. This program is an STEM educational outreach program “Pumping Up the Math and Science Pipeline: Grade School to College” organized by Dr. David Weller and Kathleen Parker (USDA-ARS). Frank spent one month to learn lab techniques and skills in our lab. We believe that he has advanced his scientific knowledge and experience.
