July 19, 2019 – Wynn Clarke from New Vision High School, Post Falls, ID, completed her internship with the NSF RET (Research Experiences for Teachers) program. It was a part of the outreach activities in our current NSF project to integrate research and education by providing research projects to high school teachers and students. Wynn spent two weeks in our lab to learn various techniques and skills in Molecular Plant Pathology. We believe that she has advanced her scientific knowledge and will translate her experiences and new knowledge into her classroom activities and curricula. Special thanks to her mentor, Dr. Jeremy Jewell.
