My name is Brooke Downing and I am currently a freshman pursuing a degree in materials science and engineering with a minor in math. I am from a small town outside of Seattle where my interest in materials science and engineering was greatly cultivated through the exploration of the material world. Currently, I work in commercial construction over breaks, which has also helped further my interest in engineering. In my free time I enjoy riding horses, fishing, and anything else outdoors.
