About me

I am Dr. Deepak Patil, I received my PhD from University of Pardubice, Czech Republic in 2015. Currently I am Post-doc at Washington State University, Pullman, WA, USA. My current research is focused on the immobilization of nuclear waste in glassy matrix. Specifically on the study of thermal and crystallization phenomenon during the vitrification of nuclear waste. In addition to this, my research is also focused on the electrical (such as investigation of ionic and mixed ionic conductivity) and optical properties of these vitrified glass ceramics.
